LOST HEARTS BY ELLIE GREEN – BOOK REVIEW

A strait-laced cop. A spirited newcomer. An undeniable attraction.

Abby is living her best van life. She eats ice cream for dinner and takes her cat everywhere she goes.

Arriving in a tiny town, she makes herself at home on a picturesque river bank. But the local cop has something to say about that. Normally, she’d leave, but there’s something about this place she likes. Plus, Abby can handle a small-town police officer.

Policing isn’t perfect, but Niko has found a place in the world for herself and her nine-year-old daughter, Zoe. When a slightly eccentric and entirely gorgeous woman starts illegally camping, she doesn’t think it will take long to move her on.

But she couldn’t be more wrong. And every attempt Niko makes to get her to leave seems to make Abby more resolute. And then there’s the really complicated bit: how much they start to like each other.

Can they find the way to each other before Abby leaves town for good?

Lost Hearts is part of the Tyndall Hearts series, but can be enjoyed as a standalone. It’s a warm and funny small-town romance that explores the joy of found family and unexpected love with a low level of angst.

Ellie Green writes heartwarming lesbian romances with strong heroines and unique settings. If she’s not writing it’s because she’s reading, and vice versa.

Lovely easy reading story from a series of three books, living in her van attracted me to this book and I really enjoyed it. It is nice to read something a bit different occasionally.
