The sun is warm when the wind drops but what a shock to the system with the temperature drop. I am so pleased that I am on holiday soon, we are going to Italy on a coach, we will be based in Lake Garda and we will be taken for days out to Venice and Verona. Plus a trip around the lake is better on a coach as you can see so much more as we drive along. It has been my dream to see all of Italy so this is my first part, I plan on doing some long weekends and flying to places in the Spring. I feel that winter will be a long stretch if we keep getting these cloud-covered rainy days.
I went out for a meal with Sam and family for the twins’ birthday, how did they get to 8 years old already? I have not been to Belle Vita for months so it was nice to go back. We didn’t get a chance to talk to the manager who we know as it was a bit busy, and the waitresses had all changed as well. We all had a lovely meal the children like going there as they eat a lot of pasta and seafood. I decided to try the lobster ravioli as never had it before, I was expecting small bits of lobster in the ravioli but it was just like paste so I will be avoiding that in future. It was a shame as I was looking forward to it and we had some very good red wine to go with all our meals.
I have been getting out more now I have free time from not running the writing group, plus I am pacing myself so I don’t get worn out and crash. At the end of the month, I plan to do an art evening with Prosecco, but I am not sure if that is going to help or hinder the art! My shed is all complete so am about to set up my art centre and writing nook, it looks so cute, and I love it.
