THE COTERIE, FOLKESTONE, KENT UK
I popped into The Coterie at the weekend as Kara was working. I really love what they have done with the garden, it is so peaceful to sit out there and enjoy a quiet drink in the sunshine. This place will get very popular in the summer as its menu is superb. I can see myself and friends having a sharing board with a bottle of red on a lovely summer evening. A sharing board looks amazing, you get a selection of 3 cured meats, a selection of 3 cheeses, pickles, chutneys, fruits, veggies and crackers, plus a bottle of…

Last weekend, I went along to this tribute show with Sue, as Barry Manilow is one of her favourite singers. It was a shame to see that they had not sold the full amount of seats, but it sounded like everyone enjoyed themselves. The first half was full of his many songs, then the second half was all the favourites, which had people singing along. It was a very pleasant evening, and it made a nice change to go listen to something different. Leas Cliff Hall website here.
