DITA GARBO AT THE COTERIE FRIDAY EVENING I was invited to the launch of THE COTERIE, this newly renamed bar along Cheriton Place in Folkestone, last night. Meeting Dita was fun, but over two hours to get ready seemed a lot. But didn’t she look good? It was a fun night and good to catch up with some friends. DAY ONE My break away started with a laugh as usual with Lynda trying to get in the wrong car for our airport lift. People say ‘dumb blonde’ and I must admit I think it should be dizzy or dozy to describe Lynda. But the best thing is that we always have a fun time when together or away. I had the Bay tree cut down again, but lower this time so the gardener, when I find one can keep it trimmed to that height. I do like it when it is cut down as you can see the palm tree better and it looks so nice. I had the same company to do the job and it was the same price as before. They also cleared up everything, which was such a relief. They are nice blokes and just get on with the job. I would highly recommend James for any tree or garden work you need doing…

As slow as January went, February just flew past without stopping and now we have March. The sun is out some days and everyone is thinking about sorting their gardens out. I cannot wait to get some colour back into mine again. I have decided this year that I am not going to buy seed, bulbs or plugs. I am going for nice ready to plant perinial pink flowers as I have wasted so much money with bulbs and seeds not growing. I have almost finished my London blog posts about our trip there.
