BIRTHDAY IN BENIDORM 2023
19th JUNE I wasn’t sure about having my birthday away but when Kara (Eldest granddaughter) told me they were coming out to celebrate with me, it made it all perfect. Actually, it was the best birthday ever, the day just got better and better. Enzo (great-grandson) was his cheeky self and often made us laugh. 16th JUNE 2023 The ride to the airport at 4 am was quick as not a lot of traffic on the roads and luckily no roadworks. Bob the driver kept us entertained with his garden growing antics. Stanstead airport is like a huge mall that you just follow the path through, like the yellow brick road. We headed towards Wetherspoons for a coffee and breakfast. I love this place, mainly because it is pink but also the girls are so lovely there and I’m not sure how she does it but they remember everything about you! I treated myself and had a pedicure and manicure today so I am already for my birthday holiday. I popped over to see my friend Lynda yesterday for a catch-up, we went into The Peter Cushing Wetherspoon pub for lunch as the weather is so nice here at the moment we sat in the garden. We have the pleasure of many seagulls on the coast so this simple idea of putting a net over the whole area is such a good plan.
