What a glorious setting for a Sunday lunch sitting in the sunshine, this takes me back to my childhood as we often used to come here as Nan and Grandad loved it and dreamt of having one of the cabin boats themselves. At The Malta, they have increased the seating and staff so even though it was very busy we got a nice table and within 30 minutes we had ordered and were eating our lunch. ESTELLA FASHION We took a trip to Rochester to catch up with another friend for lunch so took the opportunity of going to my favourite shop and a few charity shops. SPADEWORK GARDEN CENTRE A friend told us about this garden centre which we had never heard of, so we took a trip out in the sunshine and were so glad we did. This is a charity with not only plants but produce and a cafe, it really is lovely, so much choice. We have banned ourselves from any more garden centres though! Spending time in Birchington at the literary festival was good, there was a food tent run by the food of love, Thanet. This is a great tea room run by Natalie in Birchington, when I told her that I write a blog she said that I could say that her sausage rolls are the best!
