Someone Else’s Daughter, book #1 in the 5-book Miranda’s Rights Mystery series, the prequel to the ongoing Miranda and Parker Mystery series.

My thoughts – I didn’t realise this was a series, so I now want to read all of them as it is really good. This did actually keep me up half the night as I wanted to know what happened next all the time. Brilliant writing by this author, I loved the bit of romance going alongside this story as it all blended together really well, and also great characters that worked so well together. You could almost feel the attraction.

Linsey Lanier is the author of a dozen novels and several short stories. She writes romantic mystery-suspense, romantic fantasy, and romance—with a dash of sass. She is also a member of Romance Writers of America and the Kiss of Death chapter. Her books have been placed in several RWA-sponsored contests. From Linsey: I’d like to say growing up on the tough streets of Chicago inspired my feisty heroines, but actually, I was raised in a cosy little suburb, by parents who sheltered me. Guess it was other things along the way that gave me my attitude. You know–relationships, jobs, lack of funds, life in general. I hope my offbeat take on life makes for entertaining reading for you. Enjoy!
