This was something completely different, a bar in an original underground station! It seemed very spacious, but it was dark as the decor was all original. After going downstairs, you are shown to your table; again it is best to book, the menu is in the form of a newspaper. I did have trouble with this as even with my glasses on; it was too dark for me to read, so Kara used her phone torch for me. My granddaughter Kara and I went to Canterbury the other day as she wanted to go to the cat cafe, this was a very late birthday treat as she has not been very well.
