I attended this art show the other day, mainly because it featured local artists. What a heap of talent we have hidden away in Folkestone! It closes tomorrow at 4 pm, so try to get along and have a look, they are also for sale, plus prints and cards. The choice is amazing with many colours to blend with your decor. Well worth a look!

World Book Day. If I were a child again, I would be so pleased to get a new book. I used to read so many of my books, plus I went to the library every Saturday afternoon with Grandad. They got to know me so well that they asked me to help on a Saturday, so I would put the returned books away. The best bit was stamping the books out and looking for a book or author through the small files. I made my own library at home with my books. I would not let them get rid of…
