I can understand why this author is so popular; her books draw you into the story. This was the first one I had read, and I really enjoyed it. Particularly at the end of the story, you get to read how the story could have changed if people had made different decisions on that fatal day. If only life were like that! What would you do if you found a letter in the loft from your partner saying to only open it on their death? They were very much alive. Would you open it? I don’t think I would, but the curiosity about what was in it would be very strong. I think I would talk to them and then make a decision. Another good book to put on your list to read.
