The ladies that lunch had a small gathering of only five of us yesterday but we still had a good time, we didn’t get any dirty looks for laughing too loud and having fun so maybe we were not up to our high standard.
I failed miserably at taking any photos apart from two desserts! I must admit they are the best bit part of going out for lunch. The pub was fairly busy as it is the school summer holidays now and for a change, the sun appeared so many were in the garden. This is a big pub separated into different areas, nicely decorated and with plenty of seats. The staff were nice and helpful, it was also nice not to be rushed as some places are booking the next people a bit too quickly. We do have a lot to chat about especially as it is difficult to meet every month now like we used to as many of us are a bit busy. The food was superb and cooked to perfection, nice and hot. Lovely place to go for a drink or meal in Whitstable and not as busy as the places in town.
