I wasn’t sure about having my birthday away but when Kara (Eldest granddaughter) told me they were coming out to celebrate with me, it made it all perfect. Actually, it was the best birthday ever, the day just got better and better. Enzo (great-grandson) was his cheeky self and often made us laugh. He loved being on the stage, getting Mum and Dad up to dance, making friends with the girl working the bar, and getting free crisps. The Silver Dollar was a really nice bar and did excellent cocktails.
There are many different shows to pick from, which are free. The only difference to years ago is that no under 16’s are allowed to watch them so you are a bit restricted as to where you can take the children in the evening. Some hotels have children’s entertainment which is very good. 
One of the best places we found was The Joker pub as they had a free bouncy castle that Enzo loved and you could still hear the act that was on.
Thank you Kara, Ben, Enzo and Corinne for making my birthday so special, I cannot wait to do it again.
