HAPPY NEW YEAR 2025

I am a bit late to the party but sincerely wish you a healthy and happy new year.

Are you getting back to normal? It feels good to have a clear, clean flat with Christmas all removed, now to start saving for this year! A holiday is the next big expense on my list as I want to go on a cruise, with stops in Italy being a must. I cannot get enough of that country as it is beautiful. Have you any plans yet for your holiday?

I was thinking that I did not get any books for Christmas this year and I have my eye on this one, as this author was on I’m a celebrity so interested to see what his writing is like.  Have you read it?

My granddaughter Kara has just sent me a present of all these books and apparently, the films of all of them are on Net flicks.

I cannot wait to get stuck into these but will read my ones from publishers first and then have a break so I can devote myself to this series. The first two books are so thick, I think the longest books I have read. I cannot believe that I have not heard about Anna Todd who is a best-selling author. Watch out for my reviews later in the year.

The new Writing magazine is out now, along with the competition guide, so it’s well worth buying if you want to enter a few competitions this year. It also gives you a deadline to finish things to send off, and you never know, you might win.

I am now going to curl up on the sofa and read my current book which is this one, The Wolf Tree by Laura McCluskey.
