My flowers are doing very well this year, with brilliant colours, such as the lilies. We have had gorgeous sunshine, so hopefully it will carry on for the school summer holidays.
I have been a bit quiet lately, as when I went for my steroid injection in my hip, he scanned it. He said there was inflammation there, so no injection. He said I need a new hip, so to get to ball rolling on that, I have had an MRI and am just waiting to hear what the next step is. I am not looking forward to it, dreading it, but I cannot put up with this pain. It wakes me up and hurts constantly. I am on slow-release Tramadol and paracetamol, but it is not touching it. I try to rest up as much as possible and haven’t been out much, as that seems to help a bit with the pain.
At least if it’s sunny, I can sit in the garden reading. I have just read this trilogy that Kara bought me from TikTok. Once I got into it, I found it very good.
I have some reviews to write up for other books, so I will try to get those done next week. Kara and Enzo are away tomorrow for their holiday, so I will be home alone. Good time for writing and catching up with paperwork.
