MY BARGAIN FROM VINTED
METAL GARDEN GLASSES My daughter-in-law was telling me about her new glass, how it was made of metal, so it kept the Prosecco cold when out in the sunshine. It also comes in a variety of colours. How did I not know about these? I decided to go onto Vinted and have a look for them. I will say that this make is very expensive, so I was looking for any cheaper ones. I eventually found these, but couldn’t find the company, so I think they may have stopped stocking these. My theme in the garden is black and…
View PostWHAT HAVE I BEEN UPTO?
The weather has been superb, so I have been reading in the garden. Sorry for all the book reviews in one go. I like to do a word search or crossword sometimes. When I saw this puzzle book for the garden, I could not wait to have a go. I am still trying to plough through it. I got some great books for my birthday. This is obviously where landscapers go on the TV programmes, as they always come up with plants that…
View PostSTOPPING THE STONES MOVING!
I always have problems with the stones in the garden moving, leaves dropping on them, and generally looking untidy. I was so pleased when I found this solution: you tip it into a watering can and spread it over the stones. The first attempt used up the whole container, as it all came out so fast. When I opened another container, the spreading was much slower, as some of the holes were blocked up with the solution. This made it spread over a much bigger area, which was also much more economical, as one of these containers cost £30 in…
