I started reading this and enjoying it so thought I would tell you about it, there appear to be two storylines going on so keeps you entertained from the beginning. I thought it was going to be about the parent’s lodger, who does seem very dodgy, so why are they not getting rid of him? Then they go to a Literary event and the speaker dies on stage, not put me off going to these events thank goodness. I love a good festival and meeting authors, our next one in Folkestone is in November and tickets are now on sale here.
Jade had to go to Dover for a meeting so decided to go with her for the ride, while waiting for her after I had shopped. I decided to go to Costa for a coffee & cream frap and a millionaire’s pastry, I must confess they are my favourites and just can’t resist them. I sat outside in the sunshine, yes it really was a beautiful day, I had eaten half of it so put it back on the plate, trying to make it last. Over my shoulder came a seagull snatched it off the plate and promptly ate it before landing on the path. I could not believe it as it was all so quick. Good job it was on the plate and not in my hand near my face! Never sitting outside to eat my favourite cake again.
I am off to lunch with the ladies today, will write about that tomorrow so keep a lookout in the morning.
