As we head toward summer it’s lovely to see the garden beginning to get a bit of colour in it, I keep buying plants so I’m really hoping for a brilliant display and have enough to cut for indoors this year. It’s great having the bank holidays and we get an extra one this year, courtesy of the queen and so many events on it is hard to know what to go to, although if it rains I won’t be going anywhere.
I love finding bits to hang in the garden as think it gives it a bit of interest and of course lots of fairy lights all around.
I thought this was really cute and so wish I was artistic enough to make things like this, good job I have a friend who is very clever at it.
I have been doing less reading and more writing plus getting the camper ready to trade in for a smaller one as when it’s only me I don’t need to be driving a big 4 berth about. I have not found anything I like yet but I have a good idea of what I am looking for so that helps. I am still running the writing group, Write By The Sea, got over 60 on the email list now and we get between 20 and 30 at most events and meetings. Got some good events this year that are proving very popular, plus we are all writing our stories for the next anthology which should be for sale ready for Christmas presents. We also got ourselves two roll-up banners for our events, next on the shopping list are some postcards.
