We started the day by leaving the hotel by 10.30 which wasn’t too bad but I feel everyone is feeling a bit tired. We travelled to a place called Sirmoione which is on the southern peninsula of Lake Garda. I thought it was very reminiscent of the Lanes in Brighton. Most of the shops are expensive but there are also some beautiful things to buy.
We went through a few towns such as Peschiera, which has canals going all around the town. Lazise where there are a lot of campsites. Olives and grapes seem to be the main crops that are grown throughout Lake Garda.
Lake Garda is 34 miles long going north to south and 12 miles wide roughly. The average depth is 135 metres.
From start to finish we did 1,900 miles!
We also had some great characters on the bus including Victor Meldew and Wendy, Jason and Kylie and Bob and Marleen!
