Last week I had a walk along the Harbour Arm. I have not been down there for a couple of years, as I could not walk that far with my hip. I was surprised at how much it had changed. There are so many stalls and eating places available now. I did pop in to see Dirk with his prints, they really are amazing, I have two hanging in my flat. Unfortunately, Jo wasn’t there, but Dirk very kindly gave me her latest book to read, which I will be taking to Spain next month. I sat for a bit as the sun was shining, I enjoyed a really nice cookie dough from coffeefolkes while I read the blurb from Jo’s book.
The food selection is amazing, as you can see in the pictures below. These are spread over the length of the arm, plus in the goods yard. The goods yard is partly under cover and has a huge TV screen to watch the sport on or a movie; times and screenings are on the site. There are also many events held on The Arm, follow their Instagram so you don’t miss anything.
There are different seating areas so it’s not all in the goods yard anymore. The quieter part, they did have some stalls to appeal to the children.
The choice of stalls, I thought, was good as they are aiming to have a bit of everything, I feel.
There is definitely lots more to see down the Harbour Arm in Folkestone. Plus, I didn’t go to the part on the beach where you have more bars, restaurants and golf!
Well worth a day out.
