Before we went home, we spent the day in Calais, again at the beach, which was a superb area. So many different places for children of all ages to play. The scooter and skate areas were all made of concrete, so there was no vandalism. I don’t see why we cannot have areas like this in Britain. It was a lovely day, so pretty busy with different kiosks for lunch plus a small market.
The dragon we rode on was amazing, so highly recommended if you are visiting; in fact, it is a great area for a family holiday.
Then it was time to head to the port, which was so busy that we could not get on our booked boat, so we had to wait for the next one.
