We went out for Sunday lunch as it was a bank holiday weekend, I took my mum to a Hungry Horse chain as that is where I go in Folkestone for a cheap, nice meal, it’s also within walking distance. I have been meaning to try this Aperol as keep seeing it advertised so I tried the one with prosseco. It was very nice, a refreshing long drink and at £4.99 that was not too bad for a large drink. We then decided to have the turkey roast as you got two for £15 another bargain and I must say it was really nice, neither of us could clear the plate so no dessert for us.
Did you have a good bank holiday weekend? It’s scary to think the next one will be Christmas but the shops have started displaying presents plus the Halloween costumes already. Too soon?
