The festival has been on for the last four days and finishes today, it has been super and the weather has been amazing, making it one of the best I have been to. It was great to catch up with all my writer friends on the bookstall and I came away with two free books to read and review, so look out for those next month. Paul was doing a roaring trade selling his books and giving out free sweets, I’m looking forward to getting his latest book which is a thriller instead of his usual children’s stories. I sat and had some lunch and started to read Lynne Collis book called A Sense of Silver, this is very good and today I am halfway through it. Sundays are for reading and relaxing!
I withheld the temptation of buying cookies and sweets but could not resist the alcohol after tasting it and the look of the bottle was very cute and pink. I decided it would go nice with strawberries or be made into a milkshake. They advised just over ice but I think that could get messy!
I had a lovely day walking around, looking at all the amazing stalls then listening to the music on the green. Well done to all my WRITE BY THE SEA friends for selling their books and the anthologies that they have produced.
