What a brilliant day at The Kent Show, and the sunshine made it so lovely. Mia (granddaughter) was in one of the first classes with the two pigs, Tom & Jerry.
Waiting is the hardest part, then the judge has a good look and feel of the pigs, then he comes back again for another look! She won a 1st!
There really is so much to see at this show; it would take you all day to go around everything, plus you’ve got all the different categories of every animal. Cows were a bit lively! Rabbits are all on show with their classes tomorrow. Even the Goodyear blimp made an appearance. You have old cars and buses, things for the children, food and drinks. One of the best shows you can go to.
I had a look at so many stalls, I felt this one was the most colourful with samples! I must say the Strawberry and Cream gin is delicious. I should have got the man’s name, but tell him I sent you. His prices are very good; I did haggle a bit. lol I wish I had got the Strawberry Tequila as well, now as that was very good.
