I am so excited to be starting our trip, everyone convened at the services 24 in Hythe at 8.20. I did feel sorry for some people as they had been travelling down to Folkestone since midnight. We then started our journey onto to Dover and the ferry. We had a bit of luck due to our welsh driver Clive and got on an earlier ferry at 10.35 and we got tickets for a free breakfast and coffee. The sun is warm when the wind drops but what a shock to the system with the temperature drop.
