CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY
ROYAL HIPPODROME THEATRE, EASTBOURNE I had a super day yesterday. We took Enzo to Eastbourne, as he loves watching shows. We watched Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I have never been to this theatre, so it was nice to go somewhere new, even though it is very old, but what a lovely theatre! They do tours on a Wednesday throughout the year for £5 We all had a great time, the show was superb with some great actors. Hungry Horse, Folkestone We decided to go last weekend because we knew Easter weekend would be busy. It was definitely a good choice, as the Easter Bunny spent so much time chatting to Enzo. They even had a hopping race together! This pub is so nice, the way they do things for the children at times. I had a lovely surprise when I went around to Kara’s to see her and Enzo, as he presented me with a basket full of goodies. It really made my day and was so unexpected. I have now got another three books in a series to read when I have finished my ones from local authors. Thank you so much, Kara and Enzo. THE ROAD FULL OF BOOK SHOPS IN LONDON! What a brilliant road! I could have spent so long here going into every single shop. I also wished I had taken all the old coins I found at my Mum’s. I bought two books for £1 each. VN by Madeline Ashby, just because my maiden name was Ashby. It is science fiction, so I thought I would get out of my comfort zone and read something different.
