CRAFT FAIR AT HYTHE, KENT UK
During May, I went with Kara to a craft fair in Hythe on the high street, where she sold a lot of the cakes she makes under Everlasting Events by Kara There was a great selection of stalls, and it proved to be a very popular day. The things some people make are amazing; they really are very talented. I liked the name tags for your vegetables that you grow, as the plastic ones end up with very faded writing that you cannot read. It was a very good day for all the stallholders. We had a full house and a guest this month! Kara from Everlasting Events joined us at the Hungry Horse, Blackbull. Since they have been under this current manager, the service, ambience, and food are very good. Everything comes out piping hot and all at the same time! Which is no mean feat when there are ten of you. We had a vast selection of main meals, not one complaint, apart from the burger was so big, not sure how you could eat all of that. I organised a couple of book launches for two lovely Folkestone authors last Thursday. The first one was for Margaret Harland-Suddes, who had written a YA fiction story which had been taken up by a London publishing company called Austin Macauley. The book is called Finding Kronam.
