LADIES THAT LUNCH AT CHRISTMAS

CHRISTMAS 2022 LUNCH AT THE HARVESTER, ASHFORD, KENT So much talking, more laughing and a great time was had by all. The highlight of each month is meeting up with the eight ladies who are such good friends and work colleagues from years ago. This year we chose The Harvester for our Christmas get-together and we were not disappointed, the service and staff are so lovely here. Not everyone picked the traditional turkey roast, I think we all have enough of that at Christmas, but all that we chose was superb. Roll on January for our next meet-up.

ANNA’S TEA ROOM, FOLKESTONE

CHRISTMAS AFTERNOON TEA Step through the door into the Christmas space that is Anna’s, plenty of yuletide spirit here plus a delicious afternoon tea. Comprising everything that invites that Christmas feeling. All homemade with love and care then presented on a beautiful tree shape stand. It was certainly filling with so many flavours to bring your taste buds alive. The ambience of these tea rooms is extremely friendly,  plus also it turns into a gin house for the occasional evening event, I am looking forward to visiting one of these. WHITBY, UK

GOTH WEEKEND Whitby is a lovely coastal town famous for its fish n chips and the Goth weekend where just about the population dresses up in beautiful costumes. The beach is pure sand that stretches around the cliffs. Many of the restaurants had queues outside for the many fish dishes. We had a lovely time sitting and watching the many people in their costumes and a little look in the shops.
