THE CLOSE BY JANE CASEY – BOOK REVIEW

PUBLISHED BY HARPER COLLINS ON 2nd MARCH 2023 At first glance, Jellicoe Close seems to be a perfect suburban street – well-kept houses with pristine lawns, neighbours chatting over garden fences, and children playing together. But there are dark secrets behind the neat front doors, hidden dangers that include a ruthless criminal who will stop at nothing. It’s up to DS Maeve Kerrigan and DI Josh Derwent to uncover the truth. Posing as a couple, they move into the Close, blurring the lines between professional and personal as never before. HAPPY NEW YEAR Good bye the old and I wish you happiness, luck, health and love for the months to come, may all your dreams come true.         I have been looking at my stats, I have not been blogging as much during 2022 so plan on doing more this year so hopefully, my numbers will improve. I feel it is mainly down to losing so many years of posts when the server I was with went bust. You can see my very detailed stats on this platform here which they get from Goodreads. https://booksirens.com/reviewer/7PWC8EO?utm_campaign=reviewer_widget&email_login=true

LADIES THAT LUNCH AT CHRISTMAS

LADIES THAT LUNCH AT CHRISTMAS

CHRISTMAS 2022 LUNCH AT THE HARVESTER, ASHFORD, KENT So much talking, more laughing and a great time was had by all. The highlight of each month is meeting up with the eight ladies who are such good friends and work colleagues from years ago. This year we chose The Harvester for our Christmas get-together and we were not disappointed, the service and staff are so lovely here. Not everyone picked the traditional turkey roast, I think we all have enough of that at Christmas, but all that we chose was superb. Roll on January for our next meet-up.
