What a super day we had yesterday; apart from the rain, it was so lovely to see everyone. We did have two ladies who could not make it, and they were missed. As usual, there were plenty of laughs and sharing of news. The food was lovely, all cooked fresh by Kara. Most had the vegetable quiche or jacket potato. I popped into The Coterie at the weekend as Kara was working. I really love what they have done with the garden, it is so peaceful to sit out there and enjoy a quiet drink in the sunshine. This place will get very popular in the summer as its menu is superb. I can see myself and friends having a sharing board with a bottle of red on a lovely summer evening.
