BROCKHILL YOUNG FARMERS What a brilliant day at The Kent Show, and the sunshine made it so lovely. Mia (granddaughter) was in one of the first classes with the two pigs, Tom & Jerry. Waiting is the hardest part, then the judge has a good look and feel of the pigs, then he comes back again for another look! She won a 1st! I went to the Kent show yesterday, which was my first time as I had assumed like many it was just to do with farming animals and machinery. I was amazed to see such an assortment of shows, stalls, animals and so much more. I attended because one of my grandchildren was walking sheep around the ring and participating in the classes every day of the show. The school she goes to has a working farm so if they want to they can learn all about the animals, it is such a good idea if you are hoping to go…
