WINCHESTER CHRISTMAS MARKET

It takes about two hours to get to Winchester from Folkestone depending on the traffic but as we went on a Sunday the roads were pretty clear. I had never been to Winchester, I was amazed at so many old buildings, the Cathedral was lovely with such great stained glass windows. we won the bingo so have treated ourselves, I got the earrings and Corinne got the bracelet. Very happy girls on our way to the steam train experience and then the lovely town of Whitby.

I cannot actually remember these cigarette machines but I was surprised to see one in Whitstable High Street the other day and in such good condition, I think it’s nice that things are preserved and not hidden away so we can view them as we go about our day. The colours of Autumn are wonderful this year and can be seen everywhere. My daughter has got some land for their horses and has now acquired sheep and goats, will chickens be next I wonder?
