December already and almost another year has gone they definitely go quicker the older you get. We seem to prepare earlier for Christmas now and I know many have their decorations up already, have you got yours up? I still have presents to buy so have not started the wrapping yet, at least then they are all in bags ready to be distributed as finding places to put them gets harder each year, I must be collecting more’stuff’ filling up my cupboards.
THE FOLKESTONE LIVING ADVENT CALENDAR
This is always very popular and consists of each place opening their door at 6 pm every night and putting on some sort of very short show. The events are so varied and good fun, so it is a lovely thing to do each evening with the children. It is very popular with the locals so you end up meeting up with many friends.
I love December, especially the Christmas markets, we have a big one on the Harbour Arm so it is all very Christmassy all over town.
