THE SHELL GROTTO MARGATE, KENT UK
The ladies that lunch had a day out to Margate, and we went to the amazing Shell Grotto. This is certainly worth going to see. What they built years ago with shells is just so beautiful. 4.6 million shells arranged in so many artistic designs that they just take your breath away. There is also a grotto shop with many unusual products you can purchase. I love the multi coloured earrings that I bought. This really is an amazing place to go and see. I highly recommend it. I popped over to see my friend Lynda yesterday for a catch-up, we went into The Peter Cushing Wetherspoon pub for lunch as the weather is so nice here at the moment we sat in the garden. We have the pleasure of many seagulls on the coast so this simple idea of putting a net over the whole area is such a good plan.
