THE END OF NATIONAL NOVEL WRITING MONTH
How did you get on? I managed to stay on my plan of writing every day so I think it was a success as I find you get easily distracted when at home writing. I may not have got to the set target each day but any writing is good writing.

MICHÉL FABER I was very lucky to have Michél come and give a talk to my writing group, what a fantastic evening we had. Going through his life, writing and living in different countries kept us all enthralled the whole evening, finishing off with a super Q n A session. I felt ashamed to say I had not read his book The Crimson Petal and the White but I have ordered it and the film so I am looking forward to reading the book first. SUNDAY 17th JULY 2022 This was The Harbour churches free fun day and what a day it was, not only were all the bouncy castles free but so were the many activity tables where the children could make not only bracelets, and masks but even have sparkly tattoos. Children eating the many sweets and donuts and then you had the barbeque going for free burgers! Well done to the chefs of the day. It really was a lovely afternoon accompanid with live music throughout, making it a lovely spot to just chill on a very hot sunday afternoon.
