CAMDEN MARKET, LONDON
I like nothing better than wandering around a market, this one in London has just about every type of food hut you could wish for. Plus the biggest selection of stalls that sell many random things. Camden is always busy especially in the summer so going now it was pleasant to walk around. Sitting having a coffee and people watching is always good and I often pick up things to write about or just keep them in a notebook for the right story. We had a false start a couple of weeks ago so I got all the cushions out and bought myself a garden rug, bargain at £9.99 from Home Bargains, I might get one for the camper as well. The flowers are also coming along so I hope this patch of cold weather does not kill them. It was my grandson’s 21st last month and I know the weather can be unpredictable about this time of year. Happy New Year to you and yours. GOODREADS I have the app for Goodreads on my iPad, it’s very easy to use and I find it the best way to keep account of what books I read each year. Last year my challenge or aim was to read 70 books but I’m afraid I didn’t come close to that as I only read 56 books during 2021.
