It has been a long time since we all met for lunch so this month even though it was just six of us, it was nice to get together. we have all survived covid but most of us did succumb to it in the last three months. There was plenty to talk about and catch up on, especially the holidays that are planned for this year. We are meeting again next month and hopefully, we will all be able to make it. It was really nice to see one another again as we have been friends for over thirty years when we all worked at the same infant’s school. We celebrated a couple of birthdays, it feels so good to get back into a bit of routine in your life after the last couple of years.
The Hungry Horse has survived and I would say improved as the service was good, all the food came out together and piping hot. There were a couple of things that they had run out of but I guess that can happen to any establishment, especially at the moment when you are not really sure how many customers you are going to have. Many places have closed so we will revisit the ones we can and see how they are going.
It will soon be Easter, will you be going out for dinner or cooking it at home?
Have you started to go out for meals again?
