ITALY DAY ONE
I am so excited to be starting our trip, everyone convened at the services 24 in Hythe at 8.20. I did feel sorry for some people as they had been travelling down to Folkestone since midnight. We then started our journey onto to Dover and the ferry. We had a bit of luck due to our welsh driver Clive and got on an earlier ferry at 10.35 and we got tickets for a free breakfast and coffee. The sun is warm when the wind drops but what a shock to the system with the temperature drop. I am so pleased that I am on holiday soon, we are going to Italy on a coach, we will be based in Lake Garda and we will be taken for days out to Venice and Verona. The other day it was my birthday which was great celebrating in Tenerife in lovely weather with Kara, Enzo and Ben. We had a fun time playing crazy golf, Kara beat me by two points. We had a lovely day with a bit of shopping and then laying by the pool, so great having your birthday in sunshine. View PostMONKEY WORLD TENERIFE
This is by far the best animal park I have visited as you can get up close to so many of the animals, which are so gentle when they take the food from you that you buy there. The crocodile just wanted to lay in the sunshine, a couple of the tortoises were huge so must have been so old. There were lots of cactus from tiny ones to huge ones. Many guinea pigs running about you had to be careful where you walked. It was great to be able to feed so many of the animals, which Enzo loved.…
