I often need things done in the garden and around the flat so I was pleased when I came across Chris the handyman. He did a great job of clearing all the wild garlic, weeds, and all the cutting back of the grapevine and climbers. There was so much rubbish so I was thankful that he could take it all away. SUNNY SANDS I thought I would give you a little insight into the coastal town where I live, we are down on the southeast coast and the closest point to France. Many ferries go from Dover to Calais or Boulogne, we also have the Channel Tunnel in Folkestone where you drive onto a train and that takes you under the water to France. The Euro-Star did stop at Ashford which is 20 minutes up the M20. You can get the fast train from Folkestone Town to London which takes 50 minutes so it is popular for people to live here…

My writing group in Folkestone. Even though we cannot meet during these times we have shared emails and zoom get-togethers, we have been working on our first book, an anthology of ghostly stories set in Folkestone. I read The Write Way to Die a couple of years ago and have been patiently waiting for the second book in this series, Bang To Rights. I thought the first book was good but this second one is even better, especially since it is set in Folkestone where the author Jo and I live, plus a few others from the books!
