A new month heading into Autumn but I still want summer to carry on, It feels like it was over all too soon and not enough sunshine.  I decided to set some goals for this month with the first one to finish one of the books I am writing. I have two weeks away so should get most of it finished by the time I return. I have not seen this before, a sunflower with lots of flowers, normally there is only one big flower at the top. We didn’t plant these either, they just appeared lol. Are many of your plants flowering really late this year? My Lilys have only just come out that’s the bulbs and the pond, I do love the pink pond ones they really brighten it up as the lily pads almost cover the pond with a sea of green. AUTUMN IN THE GARDEN

I love autumn with all the different shades of colours of the leaves, particularly my grape vine with the greens, reds and brown leaves. We still have sunny days here and it’s lovely to get the last of the heat on your skin, it feels like it warms my bones up. The late flowering lilies are looking super this year, I will get some more of them so I can have a pot full of them next year.
