HYTHE FESTIVAL I popped over to Hythe yesterday which is only about five minutes from Folkestone in the car, traffic was minimal and parking was ok. On the green, in the middle of the one-way system they were holding the festival and my writing group Write By The Sea had a few tables where members were selling their books plus we had use of the marquee for some readings. WRITE BY THE SEA This writing group has gone from strength to strength during the pandemic, in fact, we all managed to produce an anthology called Ghosts By The Sea. These stories are all set in iconic places around the town, there is even a map that you can follow to read the stories at each place. Another month and we will be halfway through the year! I don’t seem to have accomplished much this year, not that I did last year really. I have some family birthdays this month, a few books to read, some more flowers to plant in the garden and I am hoping to get away in the camper. I need to finish my story for the next anthology that Write By The Sea is putting together for the summer. Let’s hope for lots of sunshine-filled days.
