DITA GARBO AT THE COTERIE FRIDAY EVENING
I was invited to the launch of THE COTERIE, this newly renamed bar along Cheriton Place in Folkestone, last night. Meeting Dita was fun, but over two hours to get ready seemed a lot. But didn’t she look good? It was a fun night and good to catch up with some friends. The canopies looked fabulous and went down a treat. Well done to the chefs for their artistic designs.
The garden area looks fabulous and will be used as a super sun trap. This has been painted and decorated very simply to create a cosy atmosphere for Prosecco drinking evenings.
The bar was kept busy with Kara doing a splendid job of keeping the drinks flowing. Everyone was offered a glass of prosecco to toast to this new bar.
The bar menu is very simple with a good selection of drinks that will appeal to many, I thought the prices were very reasonable. The added fruit is a nice touch that many forget about. I am looking forward to trying their Aperol Spritz and Tanqueray Spritz as they are two of my favourite drinks.
The cosy interior has had a lick of paint, with the colours making it look really warm and inviting.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank Carly for the invite and wish her every success in her new venture.
The Coterie will be open today until 7 pm with the @shepwaysocialclub entertaining you, plus an offer of 10% off final bills.
I will keep you updated on their future events. Have a great weekend.
