THE DARK EDGE BY NICK LOUTH – BOOK REVIEW

PUBLISHED BY CANELO CRIME ON THE 24th APRIL 2025

Nick Louth is a million-copy bestselling thriller author and an award-winning journalist. After graduating from the London School of Economics, Nick was a foreign correspondent for Reuters, working in New York, Amsterdam, London and Hong Kong. He has written for the Financial Times, Investors Chronicle, Money Observer and MSN. His debut thriller, Bite, was a Kindle No. 1 bestseller and has been translated into six languages. The DCI Craig Gillard series and DI Jan Talantire series are published by Canelo and are in audio by WF Howes. He is married and lives in Lincolnshire.

Nick is one of my favourite authors, he writes super crime stories that I can never solve before the end and keeps me gripped, reading all the time to find out what happens next. How does he keep churning out these brilliant stories? I need to ask him. This started as a simple event of a lady falling off the cliff, developing into a gripping story that absolutely nothing was as it seemed. I did enjoy this book and read it super quickly. I also never even guessed what happened in this story, so it all took me by surprise. Another book by Nick that I recommend, in fact, I recommend all of his books, as they are fantastic. Get them on your list for holiday reading.
