THE HOUSEMATE BY C.L. PATTISON – BOOK REVIEW

PUBLISHED BY HEADLINE ON 21st MARCH 2019

What a way to start the month with a brilliant book and this really is great, I think I read it in two days as I just could not stop. As you read you think you have got it all worked out in your head but you are in for a surprise as I didn’t pick up on this twist at all. Great writing and I am looking forward to her next book.

YOU LET A STRANGER INTO YOUR HOME
Best friends Megan and Chloe have finally found the perfect house.
And when they meet Samantha, she seems like the perfect housemate.

YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT SHE’S HIDING
But Megan thinks there might be more to Samantha than meets the eye. Why is she so secretive? Where are her friends and family? And why is she desperate to get close to Chloe?

YOU’RE ABOUT TO FIND OUT
When strange things start happening in the house, Megan and Chloe grow more and more alarmed. They soon realise that letting a stranger into their home – and their lives – might be the worst idea they’ve ever had…

C.L. Pattison spent twenty years as an entertainment journalist, until a desire to do something a bit more meaningful than write about the rich and famous prompted her to join the police force. Her debut psychological thriller, The Housemate, was an ebook bestseller in both the UK and the USA. Originally from the northeast of England, she now lives in a village on the south coast, where she is currently hard at work on her next book. Reading long walks, and cider has been her top sanity saviors in lockdown.

Available on Amazon here.
