I had a few days away visiting my mum as it was her 80th birthday! We went to the Malta Inn for lunch which is a lovely pub on the river, we sat in the window seat so we could see the boats even though it was raining once again.
The food was lovely and as it was a Beefeater you save the points for coupons off next time you visit. We both had fish and chips that was really tasty, it was haddock which is unusual as normally you get cod, mind you I couldn’t taste the difference.
Mum had a good birthday with some lovely cards and presents.
