THE PERFECT LIFE BY NUALA ELLWOOD – BOOK REVIEW

PUBLISHED BY PENGUIN ON 5th AUGUST 2021

We all indulge in a bit of make-believe at times but Vanessa likes to take on different personas as she goes around looking at houses she cannot afford, it’s all a bit of fun and takes her away from the world she lives in.

This is written by the ‘then’ and ‘now’ so it can get a bit confusing at times but it does all fall into place. Not as good as her previous book but it will keep you entertained on a winter’s night.

Nuala Ellwood is the author of three bestselling novels:

  • My Sister’s Bones for which she was selected as one of the Observer‘s ‘New Faces of Fiction 2017’,
  • Day of the Accident and
  • The House on the Lake.

Nuala lives in York with her young son.
