Did you know this was a ‘thing’?
I have not heard of it before but I do think it makes sense to have something like this during the warmer months as many writers do take some time off work to complete their writing or even to do some writing when they have some time to themselves.
I think the main objective for writers is to just find the time to write and when you have families and a job it gets tough to find some ‘me’ time or should I say ‘writing time’
You can have a writing time whenever you want, you don’t have to have one of these times, give yourself some free days and a word limit or join up with other writers as all this gives you the encouragement to actually sit and write.
Have you got a favourite place to write or can you write anywhere? I find I have to be quiet so if I go to a cafe I end up listening and watching other people and not getting anything written.
