It was so nice to go away for a short break and not have to do any driving, I used to take the camper and drive or the car and stay airBnB’s. These luxury coaches are very comfortable plus they have a loo on board.
we left Maidstone, Kent about 8.30 in the morning, had a short coffee break then went on to Oakham arriving about 12.30.
I love seeing such random facts about places. A cute little village that even had a Weatherspoon’s and what a bargain in there…two unicorn gins and lemonade £3.98
We then travelled onto Scarborough arriving about 5pm. Nice hotel which included half board so 6.30 we went down for dinner. Three courses which was more than enough and very tasty. Then it was the bar for another cheeky gin and a game of bingo, which we didn’t win on. There was even entertainment by Joel who had an amazing voice and some good moves I did notice!
What a busy day, I hope we sleep well as got another full day tomorrow.
