LEAS CLIFF HALL, FOLKESTONE You have until 4 pm to get along to The Leas Cliff hall for one of the best craft Christmas events, so much to see with a very varied price range. Did you know you can get Christmas cards with seeds for planting? What a brilliant idea. The reindeer need their Christmas treat and for 50p it’s a bargain. I love the reusable bottles with the cocktail recipe on them. Some lovely jewellery is available so you could grab a few more presents for the big day.

I like nothing better than wandering around a market, this one in London has just about every type of food hut you could wish for. Plus the biggest selection of stalls that sell many random things. Camden is always busy especially in the summer so going now it was pleasant to walk around. Sitting having a coffee and people watching is always good and I often pick up things to write about or just keep them in a notebook for the right story. Great Christmas presents that can be hand-made just the way you would like and it’s all in Folkestone! Anna from Magpie Emporium who you can find here has a huge assortment of many things, ranging from crystals to car air fresheners lol. SUNNY SANDS I thought I would give you a little insight into the coastal town where I live, we are down on the southeast coast and the closest point to France. Many ferries go from Dover to Calais or Boulogne, we also have the Channel Tunnel in Folkestone where you drive onto a train and that takes you under the water to France. The Euro-Star did stop at Ashford which is 20 minutes up the M20. You can get the fast train from Folkestone Town to London which takes 50 minutes so it is popular for people to live here…
