This seems to get harder every year as the older people get, including children they appear to have just about everything they need. If they do write lists you will have to win the lottery to get everything, which kids fail to understand, Santa has loads of money in their world.

Many shops have their sales on for the toys so have a good look around online before you traipse around all the shops as this definitely makes it easier.
