Sarah Pearse grew up in Devon, UK, and studied English literature and creative writing at the University of Warwick before completing a postgraduate diploma in broadcast journalism. I have read both of these books and have to say they get better and better so looking forward to the next one. The Retreat surprised me as it made you keep changing your mind about who was doing the murders and being honest I did not figure it out until the end. Nothing is as it seems with hidden agendas and not everybody telling the truth. Delightful read if you like something that keeps you guessing.
